Back in the shop... producing new work! It's been a strange year or so, to say the least. But tomorrow we're back at our favorite place: Olney Farmer's and Artist's Market. Come by and say hello!

It's been a crazy off season to say the least. But... we're now ready to come back! We'll be at the Olney Farmers and Artists Market starting tomorrow and then every other week through August. We're looking forward to seeing some of our customers! It's been a long time!

If you've been to any retail store you know that the holiday season is upon us! I've got a fair amount of new stuff coming out... including some new earring and ring designs. I'm also working on an online sales platform so you can purchase work right here on the site (or Etsy... depending on which platform works better). I'm also working on some new concepts... new small, high strength, magnets... funky larger pieces with images... big and small bottle openers... and maybe the nightlight concept I've been working on for over a year.

Where has the summer gone? It's been so much fun... particularly at the Olney Farmers and Artists Market. Our biggest problem there is that we've been eating into our profits... literally... because the food options at OFAM are incredible. There are awesome crepes... pizza... Polish food... Vietnamese food... empanadas... and baked goods galore. If you haven't checked out the scene, you need to go!
We're not always there... but check the schedule and be sure to stop by and see the new pieces!

The kilns are running a lot these last few days... and things are going well. The new bottle openers are just starting to come out and I think they look really good. Two-tone bottle opener key chains are close behind. And... with any luck... the first good night light will finally be done.

There is a lot going on... especially to prepare for upcoming shows. We've got a new tent, new tables, and best yet... brand new displays (some of which are being custom made). On the operational side, I've tested and switched to an extremely strong mounting epoxy. While the previous adhesive was strong, this new epoxy is outrageously strong! Any mounting mistake will now take a LOT of effort to undo... but that's a good thing actually. I'm hoping to complete my first good nightlight this week. I'm also hoping to take a few photos using the new light box setup I put together this past weekend.

A lot of new glass and findings have arrived... and I'm working to produce some new ideas. I'll be making some longer mosaic pendants and... something new... funky glass topped bobby pins! I'm looking to sell sets of six in multiple colors.
I'm also working on displays... with a creative use of washboards as the theme. The first prototype was put together a few weeks back. Next step: produce the four displays I need to work a 10x10 tent at a craft show or farmer's market.
As soon as I'm finished firing and mounting the new work, I'll post pictures of it here on the main page.

Still getting ready for Summer! In fact... I have a whole batch of fresh Summer colors that are almost ready to go. I'm also trying to work out what shows and farmer's markets I'll be attending. Check back soon for the updates.

Putting together a lot of new pendants... especially some new mosaic and striped pieces Also I've been working on website changes including a lot of new pictures.
My test magnets are also holding up well... just have to see how they (literally) hold on over the next couple of weeks.
And the lights... they are driving me crazy. I *will* figure them out one of these days.
